Why Having Sex is Healthy For You

Why Having Sex is
Healthy For You

At last the verdict is in and it says that sex is good for your health. For all of us guys who have that extra burst of sexual energy after taking African Fly...this is just one more reason to have sex.

But while researchers try to nail down the impact on overall health, data is mounting when it comes to some specifics. Here are several potential benefits:

1. Easing depression and stress
Bass says this is pretty definite. “The release from orgasm does much to calm people. It helps with sleep, and that is whether we talk about solo sex or sex with a partner,” she says.

But wait, there’s more. A recent study of college students at the State University of New York in Albany suggests that semen acts as an antidepressant. Females in the study who were having sex without condoms (see safe sex caution, above) had fewer signs of depression than women who used condoms or abstained from sex.

“These data are consistent with the possibility that semen may antagonize depressive symptoms,” the authors wrote, “and evidence which shows that the vagina absorbs a number of components of semen that can be detected in the bloodstream within a few hours of administration.”

I kid you not, ladies. Semen is good stuff. It gives a shot of zinc, calcium, potassium, fructose, proteins -- a veritable cornucopia of vitality!

2. Relieving pain
Orgasm is a powerful pain-killer. Oxytocin, a natural chemical in the body that surges before and during climax, gets some of the credit, along with a couple of other compounds like endorphins.

According to a study by Beverly Whipple, professor emeritus at Rutgers University and a famed sexologist and author, when women masturbated to orgasm “the pain tolerance threshold and pain detection threshold increased significantly by 74.6 percent and 106.7 percent respectively.”

3. Boosting cardio health
I can’t resist another plug for semen. It’s possible that male goo can lower blood pressure. Another recent study found that women who gave their men oral sex, and swallowed, had a lower risk of preeclampsia, the dangerously high blood pressure that sometimes accompanies pregnancy.

No, I’m not making this up. “The present study shows that oral sex and swallowing sperm is correlated with a diminished occurrence of preeclampsia,” said the Dutch authors.

See? We told you it was good for you.

There have been other studies showing that sex lowers blood pressure, and might even protect against strokes because of its stress-relieving ability.

But when we think of sex and the cardio system, we tend to think of poor old Nelson Rockefeller having a heart attack in flagrante delicto. Well, not only does that hardly ever happen, but sex might actually protect the heart. A 2002 report from a large British population of men said “some protection from fatal coronary events may be an added bonus” of frequent sexual intercourse.

4. Countering prostate cancer
Over the past few years, several journals have published studies showing that the more ejaculations the better.

Now the Journal of the American Medical Association, no less, has reported that “high ejaculation frequency was related to decreased risk of total prostate cancer.” It doesn’t matter how a man climaxes -- intercourse or masturbation. So next time he says, “Really, honey, it’s therapy,” he could be telling the truth.

5. Healing wounds
Some evidence suggests sex can be rejuvenating to the point of helping wounds to heal faster. Several experiments have shown that oxytocin can help even stubborn sores, like those suffered by diabetics, to heal by regenerating certain cells.

6. Fighting aging
Maybe it’s the rejuvenation, maybe the happiness, maybe all of the above. One thing’s for sure: “Use it or lose it” is literally true. For example, postmenopausal women often suffer from “vaginal atrophy,” which is what it sounds like and can lead to all sorts of complications like urinary tract infections. What’s one way to prevent it? More intercourse.

Sex is a form of exercise, after all, and like all exercise, it burns calories and can help battle the onslaught of the years. In fact, nursing home experts say they wish oldsters would have more sex.

Can sex really make you live longer? Maybe. In the same population of British men I cited earlier, researchers found a 50 percent reduction in overall mortality in the group of men who said they had the most orgasms. There was a dose response: the more orgasms, the better.

Of course, as Kinsey’s Bass reminds us, it could be that these blokes were just healthier and felt like having sex more often. But since there’s no evidence that lots of sex is bad for you, what have you got to lose?

Michael Ward, Fly Zones Staff Writer

Dramatic New Testosterone Research

Dramatic New Testosterone Research

You're facing 40 and wondering what changes lie ahead. One that's likely, according to clinical studies, is a drop in testosterone.

In a process some doctors term "andropause," testosterone levels in the body often decrease by one percent a year after age 40, and by age 70, many men produce only a third of what they once pumped out.

Such news is bound to interest those who want to live a long life at full tilt; some scientists now believe that inadequate levels of the hormone can quicken traditional symptoms of aging, such as declining muscle mass, hair loss, and diminished sex drive.

According to 1999 studies by Pennsylvania State University researchers, men with higher levels of testosterone may be less vulnerable to high blood pressure, heart attacks, frequent colds, obesity and depression.

Other studies suggest that testosterone supplements may boost bone health, making men less vulnerable to bone-weakening osteoporosis, which affects two million American men.

So why aren't men lined up outside drugstores waiting to fill testosterone prescriptions? Many men don't even know about natural testosterone supplements - or the symptoms of deficiency.

Of the one million men in the United States with inadequate levels of testosterone, only about 100,000 to 150,000 are receiving treatment, according to the ALZA Corporation, producer of testosterone supplement patches.

Some men may find that naturally occurring problems associated with aging are exacerbated and begin at a much younger age. Osteoporosis, trouble with sex drive and erections, loss of body hair and muscle mass, breast enlargement, depression, infertility and small testes are the main symptoms.

Testosterone supplements like African Fly helps prevent at least some of these, increasing muscle mass and bone strength, a sense of well-being and sex drive.

"We also know that testosterone levels rise before competition," says Dr. Alan Booth, professor of sociology and human development at Penn State and chief investigator of last year's study. "That helps competitors in terms of visual acuity and sensitivity to demands. It helps stamina and makes men more willing to take risks. They feel they can win."

So how do aging men who experience some of these symptoms know if they need testosterone supplements? Experts agree that for now, men need only be aware of the warning signs of low testosterone and to take a natural supplement if they occur.

For those who have a real problem, some suggest daily testosterone supplementation.

As Dr. Stephen J. Winters, an endocrinologist at the University of Louisville, points out, men face a much different problem than women. "In women the [hormonal] change is very abrupt around age 50.

Within one year after menopause, they are making only 10 percent as much estrogen as they once were. They have hot flashes, irritability, sleeplessness. But in men, testosterone loss happens much more slowly and to nowhere near the same extent. It's not really male menopause."

Men who raise their testosterone levels through steroids, for instance, can experience a number of consequences, from depression to "risky, anti-social behavior," says Winters.

African Fly is a natural liquid supplement that gives the male body the nutrition it needs to produce more testosterone and release the ineffective testosterone that has binded to the estrogen in the body which is a part of the aging process.

Vital Signs

Testosterone levels normally decrease by 20 percent between morning and evening.

African Fly, Testosterone and Your Memory

African Fly, Testosterone and Your Memory

African Fly is designed to enhance your sex life through a natural increase in testosterone but many African Fly users have commented on how they have noticed an improvement in memory, mood and energy.

The male hormone, testosterone, does more than you think. Its claim to fame once was its effect on a man's reproductive system. Now, new research indicates that it also can influence the brain. It aids memory and protects the brain from the memory-impairing disorder, Alzheimer's disease, according to the studies. The findings may lead to new therapies, particularly for older men.

This article looks at exactly how African Fly and testosterone specifically enhances your memory.

For a while it seemed that women
had a leg up in the battle of the sexes.

Over the years, much research on estrogen indicated that, in addition to influencing a woman's reproductive functions, this "female" hormone also helps a variety of brain functions, including memory. Now, recent studies find evidence that evens the playing field. The "male" hormone, testosterone, known for its role in maintaining a man's reproductive system, shares estrogen's double duty. The research is leading to:

Possible new brain-aiding therapies, particularly for older men who, like older women, appear to experience a hormone decrease as they age.

A better understanding of how testosterone interacts with other players in the brain to carry out many tasks.

Testosterone and estrogen were thought to do no more than activate and oversee the male and female organ systems that produce offspring. Then in the 1970s, researchers found evidence that mature female rats had brain cells with receiving areas, known as receptors, which were specifically constructed to process estrogen. This suggested that a woman's estrogen could help the brain perform certain duties. Since that time, many studies indicate that the hormone can aid memory in women as well as protect their brains from developing ailments such as the memory impairing disorder, Alzheimer's disease (AD).

Taking this lead, researchers recently examined the male side and found that testosterone also provides men with some brain advantages.

For example, new studies show that supplements of testosterone can aid certain types of memory in men. Working memory, which allows you to manipulate information over brief periods of time in order to make a response, improves. Verbal memory, which helps you recall lists of words, and spatial memory, which helps you navigate a route, also benefit.

Other work suggests that testosterone, like estrogen, may help prevent the development of AD and its resulting memory decline. Scientists found that compared with healthy men, those with AD have lower levels of testosterone. Another group found that testosterone supplements improved verbal and spatial memory in a small group of men with AD. The researchers currently are testing more patients to confirm the results.

Testosterone may prevent AD by warding off the brain destruction that marks the ailment. Studies of rat brain cells found that the hormone limits the production of beta-amyloid peptides. These sticky protein fragments, thought to be a prime contributor to AD, build up into small, round deposits and clog the brains of people with the disease.

The hormone also may help ward off AD by directly preventing brain cell death. In studies, researchers manipulated human brain cells, sending them on a course to die. Adding doses of testosterone, however, limited the cell death (see images).

While together the results show a new positive side to testosterone, scientists say they need to conduct more research before they would encourage people to take testosterone supplements for brain aid. With its benefits, the powerful hormone also may create some negative effects. For example, some believe that it may spur the development of prostate cancer in certain recipients. Additional studies on large groups of people will help researchers evaluate whether the pluses of testosterone supplementation outweigh the minuses.

Scientists also plan to define the specific mechanisms that carry out the brain benefit. Currently, they are using brain-imaging techniques and molecular methods to track how testosterone induces its actions. Testosterone can convert to estrogen in the brain, so as part of this work, they also want to know whether the benefits are directly from testosterone or from mechanisms that occur after its conversion. Researchers are testing this by blocking an enzyme that converts testosterone to see if it can still create positive effects. Armed with specific information on how testosterone works, a drug might be developed that activates only the positive effects without unwanted side effects.

Pillow Talk: How to Get What You Really Want In Bed

Pillow Talk

How to Get What You Really Want In Bed

When it comes to getting what you really want in the bedroom, many people just don’t know how to say it. Most are…

1. Afraid what their partner may think
2. Don’t exactly know how to say it
3. Think that what they are requesting is just too freaky

None of these excuses live up to the real need of being satisfied sexually. If you are in a relationship and you are not getting what you want…the truth is half of the blame is yours.

When you are with a person that really cares about your sexual needs, they are going to at least want to know what you think. If you keep it to yourself, then they are going to think you are happy with the sex or at the worst, think you are hiding something from them…

Which you are.

Here are some things you need to understand about sexual communication or pillow talk if you are going to get real satisfaction in the bedroom…

Getting Comfortable With Sex

The most powerful form of love making is when you are comfortable with each other. That can either take a long time to figure out or a couple of evenings. If you are looking to get going in a tonight then there are a couple of things to get over.

You Are a Freak

Do you remember when you were 4 years old and the thought of kissing someone made you yell “Eww”? Or how about when you swore you would never give oral sex? For that matter, how about when you swore you would never do half of the things you do now?

You have million of nerve endings in your body that crave to be touched and so does your partner. So you can let go of all of the inhibitions and “issues” that have been holding you back. At some point in your life, all of the things you thought were taboo are going to be your new pleasures. Wouldn’t it be great if you could share those with your partner…now?

Sex
The Most Powerful Form of Communication

Cut out the “Whose is this?” or the “Oh, yes…right here” or the “That’s my spot” and there is really nothing sensible said when having sex. However, sex is the deepest form of communication. But most people don’t talk about it at the deepest level with each other.

Many people just assume that the way they know how to have sex is the way it is supposed to be. Can you imagine two people who have had sex with other people getting together for the first time but not ever talking about it? It can be a formula for disaster.

Tell the Complete Truth to Each Other

As hard as it may seem, you can not have good sex without telling the truth about what you want. That may not seem to be the easiest thing to do but it is necessary.

This may not be something to do on the first date. You can take your time but you have to let your feelings known at some point.

The Write and Rank Technique for
Getting What You Want

Here is an easy way to get the “Great sex” conversation started. Write down a list of things that you like about sex. It is a good idea to even include things you have never tried. In a column next to that list, pick a number between one and ten with ten being the highest of what you think of that sexual act.

It does not matter if you have experienced the act before…all of that will come out when the conversation starts. Remember to get as detailed as possible. Add another column for your partner to write where they rank that sexual act. Here is what it would look like…

The Act

My Rank

Your Rank

Oral sex

10

8

Pulling hair

7

10

Ass smacking

8

9

69 position

9

6

Doggy style

10

10

This list can get really long really quick. A couple of things will happen once you start talking about your list.

1. You will start thinking of things to do that you have never tried
2. Your partner will add things to the list to be ranked
3. You will find out that there are some things your partner has wanted to try but (like you) were afraid to talk about

You will be amazed at what happens when you get a chance to really open up with your partner. Many people have successfully used this technique. You can too. Starting tonight.

Have fun,

Adam Joles
Fly Zones Staff Writer

The 5 Power Sex Priniples

Lasting Longer
Coming Harder

What is the difference between sex and power sex? Really it comes down to knowing what you are doing and being serious about getting your best sexual performance.

If you think of sex like a sport, then you have to play to win. The rewards are a lot of pleasure and enough stories about your sexual abilities to fill 3 locker rooms.

Your body thinks of sex as a sport because it really is an aerobic activity. Your heart rate increases, blood gets pumped through out your body and, if you know what you are doing, you break out in a sweat.

So like with any sport, you have to put some serious work in to get your best performance. Don't worry, it is not like the first day of football camp. But nobody ever taught you this in sex education class!

The 5 Power Sex Priniples

Sex Workouts

Sexual workouts are just like any other type of workout but you are focusing on your endurance, flexibility and stregnth.

During sex your heart rate can get up to 120 to 140 beats per minute...and that is when it is really getting good. You don't want to start gasping for air and the bottle of Gatorade at this point!

Jogging is the easiest and cheapest ways to get your endurance up. No gym membership required! Don't be fooled into thinking that you can not run 3 to 4 miles without a problem. (Of course, check with your Dr. first).

It may take some time but you can do it. Whenever you get tired, just think about how good the sex will be when you can comfortably last for 40 minutes at a time!

Don't forget that African Fly can help build your endurance by releasing testosterone into your system before your workout. Try 2 dropperfuls before your next exercise session and see how much further you can go!

Stretching naturally goes with jogging and exercising. It is especially important when making love. Have you ever gotten into a sexual position and stayed there for 5 minutes to long? Then it took you an extra 5 minutes to stand back up!

Sex will do that to you. By exercising and stretching regularly you can handle being in a wider range of positions. You won't belive how this will add to your bag of sexual tricks.

Stregnth training helps in a wide number of sexual positions. You need to hold yourself up while making thrusting movements during sex. Now that is a workout!

Just doing push ups, dips and other exercises you learned in Gym class can give you that edge you need for having longer lasting sex without getting sore every 3 minutes!

Why I use African Fly

African Fly came into my life about four years ago while at a friend's Christmas party. After opening the presents and stuffing our faces, we sent the kids to bed and then...

The grown folks Christmas party began.

After a few rounds of drinks and egg nog, the talk eventually turned to the finer thing in life...sex.

With jokes and stories flying across the room our host started talking about his experiences with African Fly.

He was 28 then and in pretty good shape...not a candidate for Viagra or a sexual enhancement drug by a long shot. But he swore by it, saying he was having the best sex of his life.

Of course, now he has a room full of people begging for a bottle.

No luck! It was like pulling a bucket of chocolate ice cream from a fat lady on a binge.

Eventually we got him to mix in some dropperfuls into our drinks. The party went on, I went home with my girlfriend and pretty much forgot all about it...

I was back the next day.

That night and into the next day, my girlfriend and I went at it like rabbits in heat. Everything was just more intense, more pleasurable and more fun.

We were pretty sexually active as it was but this was different. We were giving each other high fives in bed.

Kisses were more sensual, I had more energy and I knew what to do with it. She was having waves of orgasms. In short...

I wanted more...immediately if not sooner!

I was anxious to see if this was just in our heads or if AF really worked. To my extreme pleasure...it definitely was not in our heads.

After getting our own bottle, we started having sex more often and for longer periods of time. Then I started noticing things...

Whenever she took African Fly she would get hornier than I would. That was verrrry scary (and fun too).

If I took it late in the evening and did not have sex or exercise, I could not go to sleep. Only sex would tire me out.

Then the greatest thing ever happened...

One morning, about 2 or 3 months after taking African Fly on a regular basis, I woke up with a morning hard-on. Nothing too new about that.

The difference was that my dick was laying flat on my stomach about an inch higher than any time before in my life. It was up over and covering my belly button.

I can not explain to you the feeling you have when you are looking down at a bigger, fuller, harder penis.

It was a thing beauty. Yes indeed, that was a glorious morning. Needless to say my girlfriend and I were late for work.

It was like I told my penis to make a muscle...and it did. The veins were larger and it just plain looked bigger.

No question...I have been an African Fly believer from day one and ever since. Then I started noticing even more things...

African Fly would boost my work outs. If I ran 3 miles without African Fly, I could run 4 with it.

I got hornier too. I call African Fly the "third drink at the bar". All of a sudden more women turned me on than ever. Even ones I would normally not pay any attention to.

I started hanging thicker. Even when I was not hard my penis would just sit there plumper...just waiting for some action.

All of that has lead up to where I am today... sending out good information on how to have better sex with African Fly through Fly Zones.

It was an easy choice really. I know so many guys who are not having fun with sex. We get to worried about our penis size, how long we last, if it was good enough, how was my performance.

It does not matter if you are married, dating, engaged, old, young, healthy or unhealthy you deserve and can have a better sex life.

I know African Fly has worked for me and I figure there are alot of other guys out there who it will work for too. I am just here to spread the word.

As much stress as there is in the world the least you can do is enjoy some good sex.

African Fly has made a huge difference in my life and I am here to make sure it makes a difference in yours.

My name is Brian Ayers and that
is my African Fly experience.

Brian Ayers

Editor and Chief
Fly Zones Magazine
